KidCheck Announces Partnership with Group Publishing
1/19/2009 12:00:00 PM
BOISE, ID KidCheck ™, Inc. www.kidcheck.com has partnered with Group Publishing®, Inc., www.group.com, to be their exclusive marketing
partner to churches in the in the US and Canada. KidCheck publicly
launched its web-based children’s check-in security service October 1,
2008 and distinguishes itself by offering parents and childcare
organizations a collaborative solution to making sure kids remain in
safe hands.
KidCheck has been strategically designed to fundamentally change the
way parents and children’s ministry leaders cooperate and communicate
who is authorized to pick up their children. Alex Smith, Chief
Developer and CEO of KidCheck, says “It’s a win-win for
everyone…churches can use the system to manage check-in and check-out,
track attendance, and ensure that kids are kept in good hands. Parents
feel secure because they create the free account online and can easily
update their child’s information including medical, allergy, or special
needs. The system also allows parents to upload photos, and even
create guardian lists of who can and cannot pick up their kids…all of
which gets communicated in real time when they check their kids into
Sunday School.”
Additional features such as built-in SMS text messaging, full reporting
engines, and the fact that once parents create an account they can use
it anywhere they see the KidCheck logo, set it apart from any other
products that are out there. “There’s really nothing out there like
it”, says Phil Hines, Director of Sales for KidCheck. “This product is
very secure, easy to use, exceptionally flexible, and affordable. We
expect it to quickly become the standard not only in churches, but in
any environment where children’s security is a concern.”
“A partnership with KidCheck is a natural fit for us,” says Dave
Thornton, Executive Director of Group’s Church Leadership division. “We
always want to help children’s pastors and leaders make their churches
safer on Sunday – and every day of the week! The ‘safe-child’ service
that KidCheck provides is invaluable in a ministry setting, and so
we’re proud to be able share it with church leaders everywhere.”
