Check-in Station Settings | |
Station Type
Select if your station will have an attendant available to help parents and guardians check-in or not. If “Self Service” is displayed, identifying information is masked to prevent a non-authorized individual from viewing it.
Guardian Pagers
If your facility issues pagers to guardians when they drop off their kids, designate that here. Select “Manually Issue” if a volunteer or attendant is issuing pagers. Select “Automatically Issue” if you want the system to assign pagers from an inventory that you create.
Guardian Locations
If guardians generally stay at your facility while their children are checked in you can ask a guardian to enter in their anticipated physical location when they check-in. If marked “Yes” the system will ask you to create a list of possible parent/guardian locations for your check in templates.
Label Printers
Select “Yes” if you will be printing labels from an attached label printer and choose the items that you want displayed on the labels.
Custom Receipt Text
This setting is where you can print custom text on your check-in receipts. Use this to give a location for pick up in the event of an emergency evacuation, an organization phone number, or anything else that you want parents and guardians to have easy access to.
Printed Security Codes
The security codes on the labels are alpha-numeric by default and can be any combination of upper and lowercase letters and numbers. KidCheck never allows the same alpha-numeric combination to be generated within 24 hours for the same organization. Some organizations such as churches use a digital or on-screen display system to notify parents if there is a problem with thier child. If your organization uses this type of system and your system only allows for numbers to be displayed, you can change the setting here so that the security code will be numbers only.
