How to Allow KidCheck Emails
Whether it is announcing a new feature, providing helpful child safety information, or just checking in – we want to be sure you get our communications. (Remember you can unsubscribe at any time – but we hope you won’t!)
To ensure delivery of KidCheck emails to your inbox, please use the below instructions to: create a filter for @kidcheck.com; add @kidcheck.com to your address book, safe sender list, contacts; or mark as not junk/spam.
Gmail
Option 1: Create a filter
- Click the cog icon top right and choose See All Settings
- Click on Filters then Create a New Filter
- Enter @kidcheck.com in the From field (not in any other field)
- Click Create Filter
- Choose Never Send it to Spam (in the ‘when message is an exact match for your search criteria’)
- Click Create Filter
Option 2: Mark messages as Not Spam
- Go to your Spam folder
- Search for emails containing @kidcheck.com
- Select the email, click More and then Not Spam
Option 3: Add KidCheck’s email address to your contacts
- Hover over the sender’s name in the email and click the +contact icon
- (if no email) Open the Google Apps button, choose contacts and add/create a new contact
Outlook (Windows Live, Hotmail, MSN)
Option 1: Add @kidcheck.com to Safe Senders
- Choose the cog icon top right and then View All Outlook Settings at very bottom
- Choose Mail then Junk Mail then +Add to Safe Sender
- Enter @kidcheck.com
Option 2: Mark messages as Not Junk
- Go to your Junk Email folder
- Search for emails containing @kidcheck.com
- Right click on the email, choose Security Options, then click Not Junk
- Make sure the box is checked for Never Send Messages From @kidcheck.com to the Junk Folder and click Ok
Option 3: Add KidCheck’s email address to your contacts
- Choose the People icon on the left (from down arrow next to Outlook logo) All Contacts and then add a new contact
Yahoo
Option 1: Create a filter
- Mouse over the Settings Menu icon and select Settings
- Click on Filters then Add
- Enter a filter name
- Enter @kidcheck.com in the Sender field
- Select Inbox as the folder to deliver the email to
- Click Save then Save again
Option 2: Mark messages as Not Spam
- Go to your Spam folder
- Search for emails containing @kidcheck.com
- Select the email, click Not Spam (moves the email to inbox and allows future messages)
Option 3: Add KidCheck’s email address to your contacts
- Hover over the sender’s name in the email and click Add to Contacts (@kidcheck.com) then Save
- (if no email) Click the Contacts icon then All Tab. Click Add a New Contact (@kidcheck.com) then Save
