Customer Feedback – KidCheck Children’s Check-In

I really like the KidCheck program! It has been a great check in system for our church. As a Children’s Director and as a parent, I have seen so many benefits to having this system in place. The parents feel more involved with the program and that is always a plus.

We have enjoyed using Kidcheck for our VBS, and we are just starting to roll it out for all of our children’s programs! The only hard part is the reliability of the printers. They seem to getr easily overwhelmed. Other than that, I love the web based program. It’s easy to use and very intuitive!

A little difficult to make revisions on – but great once all set up.

Our church has about 100 children every Sunday and we were needing an upgrade to our security. After a lot of research, KidCheck was our best solution. Not only are we able to provide a safer place for our children, but we continue to find more and more perks to using the system – like a time-stamped check-in and check-out for our paid childcare workers, reports of first time visitors, and historical reports of how much our volunteers have worked. And of course that is just the beginning. There is so much more to the system that we have not even tapped into. We love it!

We just used our Paul and the Underground Church as the initiator for KidCheck. Everything went pretty well. It was great to use the Event Registration to flow people through getting set up and used to checking in and out. Be aware that if do this that the quick account set up for Event Registration does not ask for a phone number so that parents will have to go to their account and assign their phone number or their account will not show up when they come to check-in. The staff has been great in helping us get set up and rolling! Our experience has been awesome and we are looking forward to enjoying the longevity of maintained records and enhanced safety of our kids!

This September we are going to kick-off our new ministry season with kid Check. I have been searching for about six years now and this seems to be the best system I’ve come across in terms of affordability and having the ability to report, work with a bus ministry, etc. Because we have not actually used it yet, I don’t have much to report. However, I would really like the option to have one computer staffed for visitors and others self-service for parents/kids/teenagers who come regularly. Many, many thanks for all the phone support and advice from the KidCheck staff – amazing people to work with! I am not in any way computer savvy, so this has been excellent! Looking forward to a smoother, safer ride on the administration side of things!

The kidcheck system has been easy to use or our family and seems to be a good fit for our church.
