Understanding Your Children’s Check-In Through Video
Studies have shown favorable results of the effect video has on learning performance. It’s thought that those who receive video instruction score higher on recall than those who don’t. Most people are visual learners and prefer to receive a video demonstration which then can play/replay as often as necessary to become skilled at learning certain material. In addition, the cognitive process is said to be stimulated by the inclusion of video, thus making people more apt to engage in problem solving.

So what’s the point in sharing this information and how does it pertain to KidCheck’s children’s check-in system for churches? The KidCheck Support team has taken these findings and used them as a strategy to share support information with organizations currently using our children’s check-in software.
To get started, the Support team has created 5 new videos on topics such as Adding a New Volunteer, Setting up a New Parent/Guardian Account, Adding a New Check-In Location ,Creating a New Template or Event and Changing or Including a New Administrator. For your convenience each of these videos are posted on the KidCheck YouTube Channel, Vimeo and the KidCheck Support Center.
